Term of Appointment: Permanent
Annual Salary: R592 508
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management /Industrial Psychology/ or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driving license
  • 4 years working experience in the related field in the Local Government of which 3 years ist supervisory level.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Researches and develops strategic and short-term plans for the Human Resources functionality.
  • Directs and controls the Key Performance Indicator’s and outcomes of personnel within the Human Resources Section.
  • Manages the implementation of financial controls/ procedures and provides information to support financial planning sequences.
  • Manages and controls organization change and development through the formulation of specific policies and procedures and forwards/ presents to the Director: Corporate Services and/or Councils Standing Committees.
  • Planning, managing and controlling procedures and processes associated with maintaining employment and industrial relations.
  • Implements Human Resources communication strategies aimed at creating awareness and/or seeking acknowledgement
  • Planning, managing and controlling plans, policies and procedures associated with the Skills Development functionality
  • Monitors, consults and provides advice pertaining to occupational health and safety matters.
  • Planning, managing and controlling procedures and processes associated with maintaining employee wellness
  • Manages and controls key deliverables related with administration of the municipality’s payroll
  • Manages and controls procedures and processes associated with maintaining employment relations and industrial peace
  • Manages the scope and procedural administrative requirements and reporting deadlines associated with the functionality
