Working as part of the Managed Security Services division, the role also involves the delivery of Unified Threat Management (UTM) device management services including health and performance monitoring, firewall rule configuration, reporting as well as support. In addition, the position requires pre-sales capability as well as thought leadership to LIT and its customers around risk reduction using network security products. The role is multi-faceted, from managing and monitoring these security technologies at customers as part of day-to-day security operations, but also 1st line customer support when and if needed. The role requires that the individual has at least 2-3 years’ experience in this field of expertise. Actual experience and specific client references regarding the above-mentioned areas of specialization is mandatory.
Role and Responsibilities: Health checks, day-to-day operational management including dealing with specific corrective actions and configuration requests, as well as administration, monitoring and reporting as per below:

At least one firewall related qualification required with preference given to Cisco and Fortinet technologies.

Proven track record of effectively delivering MSS for the stated security solutions at customers.
Two years’ experience in large scale network security operations using network security products.
Two years’ experience on one or more of the following vendors: Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint and Netskope.
Evidence of capability to optimize the stated security solution deployments at customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in responding to day-to-day cloud and data requests.
Record of relationship building, proven by provided client references.
Knowledge, Skills and Characteristics Required:
Knowledge of overall ICT solutions, in particular cloud and data security architectures.
Skilled at managing and resolving issues related to the technologies and working with operational security teams.

The Cloud Delivery Engineer’s primary responsibility is to help deploy and support customers who subscribe to our Cloud services. They will need to be customer-focused, enthusiastic and have excellent IT technical support skills, with a calm and reassuring manner and strong attention to detail. Working with our Cloud Solutions Architects who design the Cloud solutions, Cloud Delivery Engineers need to have a firm understanding of all the technologies being deployed and the ability to implement the proposed solution working in a project team and overseen by the Service Delivery Manager and Cloud Projects Manager. The Cloud Delivery Engineer will be involved throughout the client engagement process, from initial scoping and surveys, through project implementation and delivery, and if required for ongoing support and maintenance of the customer environment.
