POST : SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR THE YOUTH OF AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
Amathole District Municipality and Construction Education Training Authority invites the Unemployed Individuals of Amathole District to apply for the following Skills Development Programmes in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998.
 

PROGRAM: ARPL (Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning)

  • QUALIFICATION: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing
  • NUMBER OF LEARNERS: 40
  • DURATION: 8 Months
  • REQUIREMENTS: 3 years relevant experience and Proof of address

PROGRAM: Learnership

  • QUALIFICATION: Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing
  • NUMBER OF LEARNERS: 100
  • DURATION: 1 Year
  • REQUIREMENTS: Certified Grade 11 or N2 certificate, CV, Certified ID copy, Proof of address
 

PROGRAM: Apprenticeship CETA trades

  • QUALIFICATION: Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing
  • NUMBER OF LEARNERS: 30
  • DURATION: 3 Years
  • REQUIREMENTS: Grade 11 or N2 Copy of highest qualification with relevant trade theory subjects, Proof of address
 
Applicants must submit the applications to the designated boxes marked “CETA Skills Development Program” at the nearest ADM Satellite of Offices as listed; Mnquma Satellite (Butterworth), Mbhashe Satellite (Dutywa), Raymond Mhlaba Satellite (Fort Beaufort), Amahlathi Satellite (Stutterheim), Great Kei Satellite (Komga), Ngqushwa Satellite (Peddie) and Amathole District Municipality Head Office in East London.

  • Certified Grade 9 report or N2 certificate/ Statement of results where applicable
